A few more steps

Just a couple more pictures of the commissioned work.

All the squares are cut, just waiting on that train panel.

getting the idea of how the blue frames will look.

Upper left corner is done!  I also appliqued the N, but I don't think I like it.  The background fabric is too busy and noisy for the N to come through enough.  I think I'm just going to find some basic solids or subtle prints to do the letters on, instead of this.  Regardless, progress is being made!  w00t!
